RELATING TO PHARMACY BENEFITS MANAGERS. Prohibits a pharmacy benefits manager from using a patient's prescription drug benefits claim information to market to that patient the services of a preferred pharmacy network that is owned by the pharmacy benefits manager, except in certain situations. Effective July 1, 2050. (HB62 HD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH. Restricts the placement of cigarettes and tobacco products. Prohibits the sale of any electronic smoking device to a minor under eighteen years of age and the purchase of any electronic smoking device by a minor under eighteen years of age. Defines "electronic smoking device". (HB672 HD1)

The following measures scheduled for hearing are pending re-referral
RELATING TO PROFESSIONAL AND VOCATIONAL LICENSING. Requires a licensing authority to consider in the process for licensure by endorsement or reciprocity military spouses who meet certain requirements or service members who meet certain requirements including providing retirement, separation, or discharge documentation. Requires the service member to have been discharged within the last two years. Excludes doctors, dentists, and certified public accountants. Effective July 1, 2050. (HB1381 HD1)

RELATING TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. Allows beneficiaries of prescription drug benefits providers to opt out of the requirement to purchase prescription drugs from a mail-order pharmacy and may alternatively purchase prescription drugs from a retail pharmacy. Effective July 1, 2050. (HB65 HD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony should indicate:
ˇ Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
ˇ The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;
ˇ The date and time of the hearing; and
ˇ Measure number.
While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
