HOUSE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
REQUESTING THE department of transportation to restripe southbound lanes of fort weaver road from two lanes to three lanes beginning at the fort weaver road and h-1 overpass.
WHEREAS, the southbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road are prone to severe congestion during rush hour traffic; and
WHEREAS, restriping the southbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road from two lanes to three lanes would greatly improve vehicular traffic flow; and
WHEREAS, the northbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road are already striped for three lanes; and
WHEREAS, traffic flows much more smoothly on the northbound lanes; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-seventh Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2013, the Senate concurring, that the Department of Transportation is requested to restripe the southbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road from two lanes to three lanes beginning at the Ford Weaver Road and H-1 overpass; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Concurrent Resolution be transmitted to the Director of Transportation.
