The purpose of this meeting is to (1) update committee members on the status of the global aerospace market and Hawaii's strategic scientific, educational and commercial opportunities in relation to this industry; (2) provide a brief summary of priority programs currently being coordinated through the State's Office of Aerospace Development that target these opportunities; and (3) discuss key goals for the 2012 Session. Mr. Elliot Pulham, Chair of the Hawaii Aerospace Advisory Committee, and Mr. Jim Crisafulli, Director of OAD, will provide the primary briefings, with additional commentary by representatives from Hawaii's scientific, educational and business communities.
