RELATING TO BREASTFEEDING IN THE WORKPLACE.

Requires an employer with twenty or more employees to make reasonable efforts to provide a clean location for breastfeeding employees to express breast milk in privacy.  Requires covered employers to post a notice pertaining to this provision in a conspicuous location.  Establishes a civil fine of $50 for the failure of an employer to provide a location or post notice.  Effective January 7, 2059.  (HB2228 HD2)

RELATING TO THE PRETAX TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT.

Allows the chief executive of certain jurisdictions of the State, including the counties, to establish a wage and salary reduction benefit program which qualifies as a pretax transportation benefit program within the meaning of section 132 of the Internal Revenue Code.  Authorizes the chief executive to enter into all contracts necessary to establish, administer, and maintain such a program.  (HB2254 HD1)

Amends the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund law to add a new definition of "credited service" and to clarify the definitions of "employee" and "part-time, temporary, and seasonal or casual employee."  (HB2439 HD1)

Authorizes the board of the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund to create a trust fund for the purpose of receiving employer contributions that will prefund post-employment health and other benefit costs for retirees and their beneficiaries.  (HB2491 HD1)

Amends section 806-83, HRS, to add felonies for which criminal charges may be instituted by written information (section 708-803 (habitual property crime), section 708-812.55 (unauthorized entry in a dwelling in the first degree), section 708-812.6 (unauthorized entry in a dwelling in the second degree), and section 708-835.7 (theft of copper).  Effective January 7, 2059.  (HB1771 HD1)

RELATING TO WORKFORCE INFORMATION.

Requires the Director of Human Resources Development to annually report workforce demographic information to the Legislature.  Effective July 1, 2012.
