DECISION MAKING ON THE FOLLOWING MEASURE(S):

SB2783 (SSCR2380) Status and Testimony	RELATING TO THE PUBLIC TRUST LANDS. Conveys Kakaako Makai lands to Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and resolves all disputes and controversies, and extinguishes, discharges and bars all claims, suits, and actions relating to OHA's portion of income and proceeds from the public trust lands for the period November 7, 1978 through June 30, 2012	HWN/WLH, JDL/WAM
HB2096 HD1 (HSCR298-12) Status and Testimony	RELATING TO EMPLOYMENT SECURITY. Sets the maximum weekly benefit amount at seventy-five per cent of the average weekly wage from April 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012.  Sets, for calendar year 2012, the employer contribution rate at schedule F.  Authorizes the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations director to accept loans from the State Director of Finance or from the federal government under Title XII of the Social Security Act.  Authorizes the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations director to increase the employment and training assessment in increments of .01 per cent retroactive to January 1, 2012, for payment of interest on federal loans for unemployment insurance benefits.  Requires the Act to apply retroactively to January 1, 2012.  (HB2096 HB1)	JDL/WAM
