RELATING TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING CREDITS.

Amends section 46-15.1(b), HRS, to clarify that affordable housing credits shall be issued for each single-family residence, multi-family unit, other residential unit, or if allowed under the county's affordable housing programs, vacant lot, developed by the department of Hawaiian home lands under specified conditions and requirements and shall be freely transferrable.  Prohibits county limitations relating to application of the credits.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD2)

RELATING TO THE HAWAII INTERAGENCY COUNCIL ON HOMELESSNESS.

Establishes the Hawaii interagency council on homelessness to be administratively placed within the department of human services.  Makes an appropriation for administrative expenses.  Repeals 06/30/22.  (SD2)

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
