A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

Making an appropriation for information management and technology.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $10,600,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2012-2013 to fund the following operations and projects of the office of information management and technology:

     (1)  Business process, information technology, and information resource management reengineering      $5,000,000

     (2)  Information technology integration pilot projects                         $1,825,000

     (3)  Digital archives project              $375,000

     (4)  Information and communication services division triage items               $3,400,000

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the office of information management and technology for the purposes of this Act.


     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2012.
