A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the thirty-fifth, thirty-seventh, fortieth, forty-first, and forty-second representative districts.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2012-2013.
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Waipahu high school, Oahu
Electrical upgrade.
Total funding $3,000,000
B. Waipahu high school, Oahu
Expand cafeteria.
Total funding $3,000,000
C. Waipahu high school, Oahu
Air conditioning.
Total funding $10,000,000
D. Waipahu high school, Oahu
Girls athletic locker room.
Total funding $8,200,000
E. Waipahu high school, Oahu
SPED trailer.
Total funding $700,000
F. Waipahu high school, Oahu
Building K (locker room) pipe joint/TSI.
Total funding $10,000
G. Waipahu high school, Oahu
Retaining wall behind building C to building Q.
Total funding $200,000
H. Waipahu high school, Oahu
New 10-classroom building, request equipment and appurtenance.
Total funding $11,000,000
I. Waipahu high school, Oahu
All weather 8-lane track and field.
Total funding $4,000,000
J. Waipahu intermediate school, Oahu
Eight classroom building.
Total funding $8,000,000
K. Waipahu intermediate school, Oahu
Electrical upgrade.
Total funding $916,000
L. Waipahu intermediate school, Oahu
Air conditioning.
Total funding $3,500,000
M. Waipahu intermediate school, Oahu
Walkway building I.
Total funding $200,000
N. Waipahu intermediate school, Oahu
SPED trailer.
Total funding $375,000
O. Waipahu intermediate school, Oahu
Drainage improvement.
Total funding $300,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2012.
