A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2012-2013 for a grant-in-aid to the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for the career criminal prosecution unit, including the hiring of necessary staff.
SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2012-2013 for a grant-in-aid to the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for prosecution in drug court, including the hiring of necessary staff.
SECTION 3. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2012-2013 for a grant-in-aid to the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for the Hawaii's opportunity probation with enforcement program, including the hiring of necessary staff.
SECTION 4. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2012-2013 for a grant-in-aid to the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for the victim witness assistance program, including the hiring of necessary staff.
SECTION 5. The sums appropriated in sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 shall be expended by the department of the prosecuting attorney of the city and county of Honolulu for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 6. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
