A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the thirty-fifth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2012-13 to be expended by the department of education:
A. August Ahrens elementary school, Oahu
Air conditioning
Total funding $35,000,000
B. August Ahrens elementary school, Oahu
Partition room and new sink
Total funding $150,000
C. August Ahrens elementary school, Oahu
Administration building
and eight classroom buildings
Total funding $17,250,000
D. August Ahrens elementary school, Oahu
Air condition rooms H1/H6
Total funding $50,000
E. Waipahu elementary school, Oahu
Air conditioning
Total funding $3,500,000
F. Waipahu elementary school, Oahu
Electrical upgrade
Total funding $400,000
G. Waipahu elementary school, Oahu
Drainage improvements
Total funding $200,000
H. Waipahu elementary school, Oahu
ADA improvements buildings F and I
Total funding $100,000
I. Waipahu elementary school, Oahu
Pedestrian bridge accessibility
Total funding $300,000
J. Waipahu elementary school, Oahu
ADA improvements building I
Total funding $300,000
K. Waipahu elementary school, Oahu
Architectural barrier removal
Total funding $100,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2012.
