A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CULTURE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
Section 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2012-2013:
1. Artspace, Pa'i cultural center, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction of a Pa'i cultural center.

Construction $2,423,000
Total funding $2,425,000
2. The Kahana living park community hale and kitchen, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction of a community kitchen.

Construction $298,000
Total funding $300,000
3. Kāko'o 'Oiwi, Māhuahua 'Ai o Hoi, cultural, economic, and social center for agricultural research and restoration, Oahu
Plans, design, and construction for rehabilitation of fallow land for traditional native Hawaiian agricultural use.

Construction $2,588,000
Total funding $2,590,000
4. Kaneohe canoe club, Oahu
Construction of a sailing vessel.
Materials $1,000

Total funding $20,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2012.
