RELATING TO GROUP LIVING FACILITIES.

Terminates permits issued by a county agency to facilities intended for group living, or group homes, that do not use the permits.  (HB1654 HD1)

RELATING TO OCEAN RECREATION.

Amends the definition of "sailing school vessel" to require the vessel to have a valid certificate of inspection from the United States Coast Guard.

RELATING TO KAKAAKO.

Repeals the requirement that the Hawaii community development authority consider recommendations by the Kakaako makai community planning advisory council in developing, accepting, and implementing any plans for the Kakaako makai area.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

WEB:     For comments less than 4MB in size, transmit from the Web page at http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/emailtestimony.

 

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
