RELATING TO PUBLIC LANDS. Allows the Board of Land and Natural Resources to extend or modify the fixed rental period of certain leases; provided that the aggregate of the initial term and any extension granted does not exceed 65 years. (HB331 HD2)

RELATING TO LAND USE. Establishes the Heeia Community Development District in Koolaupoko, Oahu. Effective July 1, 2030. (HB389 HD3)

RELATING TO THE ALOHA TOWER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Abolishes Aloha Tower Development Corporation (ATDC). Transfers the ATDC assets to the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA). Establishes the Aloha Tower Complex under the jurisdiction of HCDA. Makes an appropriation. Effective on January 1, 3000. (HB1020 HD2)

RELATING TO PUBLIC LANDS. Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to consider the sale or exchange of Sand Island parcels to leaseholders. Requires a report of findings and recommendation to the Legislature. Effective January 1, 3000. (HB1164 HD1)

RELATING TO SMALL BOAT HARBORS. Provides that state fast lands and submerged lands may be leased. Provides for the lease of fast lands and submerged lands of the Ala Wai boat harbor pursuant to requests for proposals. Effective July 1, 2030. (HB1312 HD2)

RELATING TO SMALL BOAT HARBORS. Permits commercial permits in Ala Wai and Keehi small boat harbors; establishes that small boat harbor fees can be used only for the operating and maintenance of small boat the harbors; authorizes a process for a public-private partnership to develop a portion of Ala Wai small boat harbor; changes mooring fee rate process. · By fax: Testimony may be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at 586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. When faxing, please indicate to which committee the testimony is being submitted and the date and time of the hearing.
Please note: If you submit your written testimony after 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the hearing, please sign-in at the staff table to testify orally. A copy of your testimony may not be available during the hearing but will be posted online for the public after the hearing.
