Establishes an employment and training program for intellectually and developmentally disabled persons using medicaid waiver funds; program to be administered by the department of human services, in cooperation with the department of education and the department of health. Makes an appropriation. Effective 07/01/2050. (SD2)

RELATING TO COMMUNITY CARE FOSTER FAMILY HOMES. Amends previous caregiving requirements to specify that in Community Care Foster Family Homes approved for a maximum of three clients, the primary caregiver must be a certified nurse aide and the substitute caregiver must be a nurse aide. (SD1)

RELATING TO COMMUNITY CARE FOSTER FAMILY HOMES. Amends the definition of community care foster family home to require that a community care foster family home be certified and in operation for not less than one year prior to being certified for a third client. (SD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
