RELATING TO SALARIES. Extends the 5% legislative salary decrease from 06/30/2011, to 06/30/2013.

RELATING TO TAXATION. PROPOSED HD1: Places a limit on the amount of transient accommodations tax revenues distributed to the counties. Effective 07/01/2011 and sunsets 06/30/2015.

RELATING TO TAXATION. PROPOSED HD2: Clarifies DoTax's subpoena authority for civil and criminal investigations.

RELATING TO CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEMS. Allows the director of commerce and consumer affairs to designate an access organization to oversee public, educational, and governmental channels on cable television.

RELATING TO ATHLETIC TRAINERS. Creates registration requirements and qualifications for athletic trainers in this State; provides exemptions; prescribes penalties. Effective July 1, 2020.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE STATEWIDE AGRICULTURE WATER DEVELOPMENT STUDY. Makes an appropriation out of the agricultural development and food security special fund for the statewide agriculture water use and development plan to be performed by the Department of Agriculture. Effective July 1, 2011.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
