RELATING TO LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANIES. Establish a new chapter in the Hawaii Revised Statutes, entitled sustainable business limited liability companies. Effective July 1, 2112. (SD1)

RELATING TO ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSES. Requires each hospital within the State to allow advanced practice registered nurses to practice within the full scope of the practice, including as a primary care provider. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE. Removes definition of convenience minimarts commonly referred to as a "mom and pop store". Effective January 7, 2059. (SD1)

RELATING TO TELECOMMUNICATIONS. Exempts broadband infrastructure improvements from state or county permitting requirements for five years; exempts telecommunications companies from replacing existing utility poles when installing new or improving existing telecommunications cables. RELATING TO RENEWABLE ENERGY. Directs the public utilities commission to implement an on-bill financing program for residential electric utility customers to finance purchases of energy efficient or renewable energy devices and systems through their regular electric utility bills. (SD1)

RELATING TO COFFEE. Restricts the use of the geographic origin of Hawaii-grown coffee on coffee labels. Effective July 1, 2050. (SD1)

· In person: 1 copy of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 230, State Capitol.
· By fax: Testimony may be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at 586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. When faxing, please indicate to which committee the testimony is being submitted and the date and time of the hearing.
