RELATING TO GROUND LEASES.
Within the final ten years of a long-term residential ground lease, permits a
lessee to request a lease extension from the lessor. Under specified conditions,
requires a lessor to offer to sell the fee simple interest in the land to the
lessor for the amount fixed by an appraiser's determination of the leased-fee
interest in the land. Establishes a process for arbitration when the lessor
and lessee are unable to agree on a rental rate. Effective July 1, 2112.

RELATING TO REPACKAGED DRUGS AND COMPOUND MEDICATIONS.
Establishes price caps for the Hawaii workers' compensation insurance system
for drugs, including repackaged drugs and compound medications. Effective

RELATING TO COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSING.
Amends sections of the Hawaii Revised Statutes relating to the Commercial
Driver's License licensing process and medical requirements for drivers. The
amendments are designed to put the State in compliance with Federal Motor

Extends for registered owners with an out-of-state address, the time period
