RELATING TO CHIROPRACTIC.

Updates the scope of practice for chiropractic to reflect standards, practices, and terminology accepted by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Requires Board of Chiropractic Examiners to work with the American Chiropractic Association to define the scope of practice of chiropractic.  Effective July 1, 2050.  (SB657 HD1)

Status

RELATING TO THE HAWAII PREPAID HEALTH CARE ACT.

Repeals the sunset provision of the Hawaii Prepaid Health Care Act.  Repeals Act 99, Session Laws of Hawaii 1994, which repealed the sunset provision of the Hawaii Prepaid Health Care Act effective upon the enactment of certain federal law.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO HAWAII REVISED STATUTES SECTION 514B-153(E).

Allows a condominium association that includes time share units to exclude information about individual time share owners from the records that the association is required to maintain unless the individual time share owner requests that the association maintain the owner's name and address in the association's records.   Effective March 3, 2015. Status

RELATING TO PHOTOVOLTAIC-READY NEW RESIDENTIAL HOMES.

Requires that new single-family residential construction incorporate design elements and minimum equipment installation at the time of construction to facilitate the future adoption of a photovoltaic system.  (SD1)

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
