Status

RELATING TO APPRAISALS.

Requires a real estate appraiser to comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice when acting as an arbitrator in an arbitration proceeding to determine the fair market value, fair rental value, or fair and reasonable rent of real estate.  Effective July 1, 2112.  (SB975 HD1)

PROPOSED HD2

RELATING TO PSEUDOEPHEDRINE.

Reclassifies pseudoephedrine as a schedule V drug that may only be dispensed with a prescription with certain exceptions; makes conforming amendments.  Requires retail sellers of drugs containing pseudoephedrine to remove these drugs from their over-the-counter inventories no later than July 1, 2011.  Requires electronic tracking.  Effective July 1, 2050.  (SB40 HD1)

Requires electronic tracking of distribution of pseudoephedrine or any drug containing pseudoephedrine.  Requires report to Legislature prior to the 2012 Regular Session.  Effective July 1, 2050.   (PROPOSED SB40 HD2)

Status

RELATING TO AUTOMOBILE PERSONAL INJURY LIMITATIONS.

Requires a record reviewer for medical treatment provided for an injury covered by a motor vehicle insurance policy to possess sufficient specialized knowledge to assess the specific treatment at issue; makes the record review available upon request.  (SD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

 

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:

·     Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

·     The Committee the comments are directed to;

·     The date and time of the hearing;

·     Measure number; and

·     The number of copies the Committee is requesting. 

 

While every effort will be made to copy, organize, and collate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed to the incorrect office, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
