     Your Committees on Health and Human Services, to which was referred H.C.R. No. 24 entitled:

"HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR THE HOME FOR LIFE TASK FORCE TO REPORT ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REDUCING BARRIERS TO AGING IN PLACE AND FACILITATING MULTIGENERATIONAL LIVING,"

beg leave to report as follows:

     The purpose of this concurrent resolution is extend the deadline for the Home for Life Task Force to report its findings and recommendations to the Legislature to June 30, 2012.

     The Representative from the 38^th District, Executive Office on Aging, Disability and Communication Access Board, BIA-Hawaii, Home for Life Task Force, and several concerned individuals testified in support of this measure.

     As affirmed by the records of votes of the members of your Committees on Health and Human Services that are attached to this report, your Committees concur with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 24 and recommend that it be referred to the Committee on Legislative Management.
