A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to state departments.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 201-8, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended to read as follows:
"§201-8 Recommendations to [agencies.]
state departments. On the basis of submitted reports and [such]
other information as the department of business, economic development, and
tourism may obtain, it may, as it deems it desirable for the best coordination
and effectiveness of economic development activities in the State, make
recommendations in writing to any [agency] department of the
state government."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
