A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to employment.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 386-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending the definition of "usual and customary employment" to read as follows:
""Usual and customary
employment" means [the] a line or type of work in the
gainful employment market consistent with a claimant's background, training,
and experience."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
