A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO CEMETERIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  The following sum, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the project listed in this Act, is hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2011-2012:

     1.   To be expended by the department of defense:

     A.   Veteran's cemetery, Makawao, Maui

          Land for expansion of burial space for the veteran's               cemetery in Makawao.

     SECTION 2.  The sum appropriated for the capital project set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of defense for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2020.
