RELATING TO TAXATION. Adopts amendments to Hawaii tax laws to implement the streamlined sales and use tax agreement; takes effect when the State becomes a party to the streamlined sales and use tax agreement. (SD1)

RELATING TO TAX CREDITS. Extends the end date for the tax credit for research activities from December 31, 2010, to December 31, 2011, contingent on passage of other bills. (SD1)

RELATING TO TRANSIENT ACCOMMODATIONS TAX. Requires the transient accommodations tax to be assessed and collected at a minimum rate of $8 per day; places a limit on the amount of transient accommodations tax revenues distributed to the counties from July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2015. (SD1)
