Provides that high occupancy vehicle lanes may be used by electric vehicles capable of driving at least fifty-five miles per hour, regardless of the number of occupants.  (SD1)

RELATING TO COST SHARING IN THE RELOCATION AND UNDERGROUNDING OF UTILITY FACILITIES.

Allocates cost share among highway agencies and utilities for projects involving the removal, relocation, replacement, or reconstruction of utility facilities that border state or county highways.  Clarifies federal funding share for cost of undergrounding utility facilities.  Effective 7/1/50.  (SD2)

Status

RELATING TO THE TAX LIEN AND ENCUMBRANCE RECORD.

Enables encumbrance of motor vehicle titles for outstanding judgments payable to the State or a county by allowing recordation in a county director of finance's "tax lien and encumbrance record" with an exemption for state or county agencies from paying the statutory fee.  (SD2)

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
