Informational briefing regarding the closure of Kulani Correctional Facility (KCF) on the Big Island:
In particular, the decisions to destroy government records, equipment and other items by open burning will be discussed. Individuals involved with the records destruction shall be ask to testify. The possibility of violations of federal, state, and county laws as well as administrative rules shall be determined. The issue of theft and missing state inventory will also be discussed. Other issues relative to the closing of KCF will be considered.
FOR AMENDED NOTICES: If the notice is an amended notice, items that have been deleted are stricken through and items that have been added are underscored. If there is an item that is both underscored and stricken through, that item has been deleted from the agenda.
