The purpose of this informational briefing is to address the possible delay in payment of Medicaid funds by the Department of Human Services (DHS) to the service providers.
It will also review the Governor's emergency appropriation request for $40 million for Medicaid payments.
The following have been invited to participate:
1. Alohacare; and
2. Kaiser Permanente; and
3. HMSA; and
4. Ohana Health Plan; and
5. Evercare; and
6. All other healthcare providers under Medicaid; and
7. Those other organizations and/or individuals with concerns regarding pending late Medicaid payments.
Submit testimony in ONE of the following ways:
PAPER: 20 copies (including the original) to Room 315 in the State Capitol; or
EMAIL: For comments less than 5 pages in length, transmit to HUStestimony@Capitol.hawaii.gov
