The purpose of this informational briefing is to discuss possible problems that victims of domestic violence may face when they go through the continuum of services. 

The following individuals/organizations have been invited to attend:

The Department of Human Services

A representative from the Child Protective Service Division

Dara Carlin, VOICES

Other victims and/or victims advocates of domestic violence.

Persons wishing to offer comments may send their testimony to HUStestimony@capitol.hawaii.gov. 

To ensure that all testifiers have adequate time to speak, please limit testimony to 10 minutes per State department and 5 minutes per individual or group.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids and/or services to participate in the meeting (i.e., sign language interpreter or wheelchair accessibility), please contact the Committee Clerk at 586-6050 to make a request for arrangements at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.  Prompt requests help to ensure the availability of qualified individuals and appropriate accommodations.
