RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS TO ASSIST HAWAII PACIFIC HEALTH. Authorizes the issuance of SPRBs to assist Hawaii Pacific Health in financing, refinancing, and/or reimbursing costs related to the acquisition or construction of health care facilities.

RELATING TO BUILDING DESIGN FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. Requires the disability and communication access board to charge a fee to defray expenses of review of construction plans to ensure compliance with law. Establishes temporary fees until the board adopts permanent fees. (HB2152 HD1)

MAKING AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION FOR HAWAII HEALTH SYSTEMS CORPORATION FOR OPERATIONAL COSTS. Appropriates emergency funding to the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation to ensure the continuous delivery of critical health care services and for the payment of HHSC's operational costs, and establish the Big Island Rural Interdisciplinary Program in the East Hawaii region. Effective July 1, 2020. (HB2801 HD2)

RELATING TO PRACTICE OF PHARMACY. Amends the definition of "practice of pharmacy" by allowing immunizations to be administered to persons who are at least nine years of age with parental consent contingent upon the Governor's determination of a public health necessity. Effective July 1, 2020. (HB2464 HD2)

Persons wishing to testify should submit testimony in one of the following ways by 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the hearing:
· By Email: Testimony may be emailed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Committee at HTHTestimony@Capitol.hawaii.gov . Please indicate the measure, date and time of the hearing. Email sent to individual offices or any other Senate office will not be accepted.
· By Web: Testimony may be submitted online if less than 4MB in size, at http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/emailtestimony.
· In person: 1 copy of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 215, State Capitol.
· By fax: Testimony may be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at 586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. When faxing, please indicate to which committee the testimony is being submitted and the date and time of the hearing.
Please note: If you submit your written testimony after 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the hearing, please sign-in at the staff table to testify orally. A copy of your testimony may not be available during the hearing but will be posted online for the public after the hearing.
