This informational briefing is invited consumers, providers, and advocates to comment on the changes in services and programs that were made in the recent past by the Department of Health and that are under consideration and the impact these changes will have in the community.

Substantial and significant changes to services were made in 2008 and the first half of 2009, including elimination of Assertive Case Management for the most acute patients, reduction in allowable case management hours, and transfer of all patients with private insurance to their insurance providers.  More recently, additional service and eligibility changes, reductions, and eliminations have taken place and the current fiscal condition of the State may result in more changes.

Individuals and organizations wanting to provide testimony, please contact the Committee Clerk in Room 215 at 586-6363.

FOR AMENDED NOTICES:  If the notice is an amended notice, items that have been deleted are stricken through and items that have been added are underscored.  If there is an item that is both underscored and stricken through, that item has been deleted from the agenda.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign or foreign language interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for the disabled) please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior to the hearing so arrangements can be made.
