The purpose of this informational briefing is to receive information related to Hawai‘i's Environmental Review System by the University of Hawai‘i Department of Urban and Regional Planning, the Environmental Center and the Environmental Law Program of the William S. Richardson School of Law in accordance with Act 1 of 2008 and to gather information about the current status and future challenges of the Environmental Council.
Presentations will be made on the following:
Proposed revisions to Environmental Review System presented by Professor Karl Kim of the University of Hawai‘i Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Professor Denise Antolini of the William S. Richardson School of Law and Peter Rappa of the Environmental Center.
On the state of the Environmental Council by Dr. Gail Grabowsky, chairperson of the Environmental Council.
No public testimony will be accepted.
