Requires the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to either allow individuals to post job-availability online independently, or post the information online for the individual after the individual provides the necessary information on a form prescribed by the Department.  (SB2323 HD1)

Status

RELATING TO PUBLICITY RIGHTS NAMES AS DISTINGUISHED FROM TRADE NAMES AND SPECIFYING REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR PUBLICITY RIGHTS NAMES BY AMENDING CHAPTER 482P.

Renames "publicity rights trade name registration" as "publicity rights name registration" under chapter 482P, Hawaii Revised Statutes; gives the department of commerce and consumer affairs discretion to implement the law in a manner that complies with the law's legislative intent.  (SD1)

Status

RELATING TO INTOXICATING LIQUOR.

PROPOSED SB2545 SD2 HD 1:  Restricts to 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., BYOB liquor consumption on premises not licensed by a liquor commission. Establishes a class 17 license for BYOB establishments operating between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. Increases limit on on-premises brewpub license manufacturing from 10,000 to 30,000 barrels. Effective July 1, 2020.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

 

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:

·     Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

·     The Committee the comments are directed to;

·     The date and time of the hearing;

·     Measure number; and

·     The number of copies the Committee is requesting. 

 

While every effort will be made to copy, organize, and collate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed to the incorrect office, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

 

Submit testimony in ONE of the following ways:

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns.  This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
