RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS. Requires that notice of amendments to project documents be provided to owners and potential purchasers and that amendments that effect a material change trigger a purchaser's right of rescission. Requires that the developer set aside a percentage of the initial sales price of each residential apartment in a condominium project to be used to fund the project's estimated replacement reserve fund. Requires disclosure of the cost of capital equipment installed in the project. (SB2164 HD1)

RELATING TO PHARMACIST LICENSURE. Broadens the practical experience requirements for a pharmacist license to include experience obtained in U.S. territories and the District of Columbia. RELATING TO REMOTE DISPENSING PHARMACY. Clarifies the definitions of "remote dispensing machine" and "remote dispensing pharmacy". Effective July 1, 2050. (SB2770 HD1)

RELATING TO PHARMACIES. Requires all pharmacies and remote dispensing pharmacies to have the capacity to accommodate electronic prescriptions. Requires all pharmacies, remote dispensing pharmacies, practitioners, and medical oxygen distributors to maintain prescription records electronically. Effective July 1, 2050. (SB2811 HD1)

RELATING TO RENEWABLE ENERGY. Requires gas utility companies to annually report to the public utilities commission information on the use of renewable energy resources. Defines feedstock, total feedstock, and non-petroleum feedstock.

RELATING TO RENEWABLE ENERGY. Prohibits an electric utility from unreasonably denying, burdening, or delaying net energy metering service requested by an eligible customer-generator. Permits the PUC to specify separate generating capacity requirements or limits for each specified individual generation technology. Requires the PUC to ensure the impacts of net energy metering on rates are reasonable. Provides factors the PUC is required to consider in determining generating capacity requirements or limits. Permits existing net-metered customers the option to maintain existing contracts in the event the PUC establishes alternate mechanisms. Effective July 1, 2050. (SB2488 HD1)

RELATING TO DIVERSION PROGRAM FOR CHEMICALLY DEPENDANT NURSES. Amends requirements for diversion programs for chemically dependent nurses to allow the Board of Nursing to recognize alternative program sponsors. Clarifies disciplinary and reporting requirements. (SB2898 SD1)

RELATING TO THE PRACTICE OF NURSING. Defines the practice of nursing; directs the state board of nursing to adopt certain provisions of the NCSBN Model Nursing Practice Act and Model Nursing Administrative Rules; delineates the scope of practice for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and advanced practice registered nurses; repeals Hawaii Administrative Rules relating to prescriptive authority for advanced practice registered nurses, and amends the definition of "advanced practice nurse with prescriptive authority" to reflect this. DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee the comments are directed to;
· The date and time of the hearing;
· Measure number; and
· The number of copies the Committee is requesting.
While every effort will be made to copy, organize, and collate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed to the incorrect office, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
