RELATING TO THE PRACTICE OF NURSING. Defines the practice of nursing. Directs the state board of nursing to adopt certain provisions of the NCSBN Model Nursing Practice Act and Model Nursing Administrative Rules. Delineates the scope of practice for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and advanced practice registered nurses. Repeals Hawaii Administrative Rules relating to prescriptive authority for advanced practice registered nurses. (HB1847 HD1)

RELATING TO NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE. Establishes a Naturopathic Formulary Board to create a naturopathic formulary for the Board of Naturopathic Medicine that will be updated and published every two years. Repeals provisions authorizing the use of "legend drugs" as a part of the practice of naturopathic medicine. Effective July 1, 2020. (HB2312 HD1)

RELATING TO PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING. Authorizes social workers, marriage and family therapists, advanced practice registered nurses, and physician assistants to engage in psychological testing, provided that they hold at least master's degrees. Defines "psychological testing".

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee the comments are directed to;
· The date and time of the hearing;
· Measure number; and
· The number of copies the Committee is requesting.

WEB: For comments less than 4MB in size, transmit from the Web page at http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/emailtestimony.
Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
