A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO NON-GENERAL FUNDS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  Section 37-46, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (a) to read as follows:

     "(a)  The director of finance shall submit written notification to the legislature within ten calendar days of any transfer of non-general funds to the general fund."

     SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
