A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE eighteenth REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2009-2010:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Kaiser and Kalani complex schools, Oahu
Design for performing arts auditorium.

B. Aina Haina elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction for a public address system in the cafeteria.
Design $5,000
Construction $45,000

C. Kahala elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction for re-roofing all the buildings, except the administration office, library, and cafeteria.

D. Kahala elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction for repavement of the parking lot by the administration building and marking of parking stalls.
Design $4,000

E. Kahala elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction to renovate the school playground.

F. Kahala elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction for renovation of covered walkway from building A to cafeteria.

G. Niu Valley middle school, Oahu
Design and construction of two portable classrooms for world language.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2009.
