A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the twenty-second representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2010-2011:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Hokulani elementary school, Oahu
Construction to replace asphalt walkway behind building E.
Construction $60,000
Total funding $60,000
B. Hokulani elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction to reroof main walkway.
Design $4,000
Construction $46,000
Total funding $50,000
C. Hokulani elementary school, Oahu
Construction to install security screens for buildings A, B, and C.
Construction $150,000
Total funding $150,000
D. Lunalilo elementary school, Oahu
Construction to install campus sprinkler system.
Construction $4,000
Total funding $4,000
E. Lunalilo elementary school, Oahu
Construction to upgrade electrical system.
Construction $300,000
Total funding $300,000
F. Lunalilo elementary school, Oahu
Construction to replace sport court.
Construction $4,000
Total funding $4,000
G. Washington middle school, Oahu
Construction to renovate toilets in Building F and portable classrooms.
Construction $44,000
Equipment $1,000
Total funding $45,000
H. Washington middle school, Oahu
Construction and equipment to replace science laboratory tables in building H.
Construction $49,000
Equipment $1,000
Total funding $50,000
I. Washington middle school, Oahu
Construction and equipment to replace hot water boilers.
Construction $49,000
Equipment $1,000
Total funding $50,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2010.
