A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the forty-first representative district.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2010-2011:

     To be expended by the department of education:

     A.   Honowai elementary school, Oahu

          Installation of security screens for:

          (1)  Building G;                            $ 15,000

          (2)  Teacher's lounge; and                     8,000

          (3)  The head custodian's room.                8,000

                   Total Funding                     $ 31,000

     B.   Kaleiopuu elementary school, Oahu

          Recoating of roof and installation of solar fan and air filter for twelve portable buildings.

                   Total Funding                     $180,000

     SECTION 2.  The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.  SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2010.
