The purpose of this informational briefing is to acquaint the Committee on:
(1) the hotel industry's and island food producers' coordinated plan to establish a Hawai‘i hotel industry agriculture support initiative and to increase the market potential of the socially disadvantaged produce growers in Hawai‘i by reducing on-farm food safety risks and
(2) the selection process and criteria for the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority President and CEO.
