Repeals the cap on transient accommodations tax deposits to the convention center enterprise special fund and changes the percentage amount of revenue deposited into the tourism special fund.

RELATING TO TOURISM.

Makes technical amendment to tourism law regarding development of measures of effectiveness.

RELATING TO TOURISM EMERGENCY.

Adds a national or global economic crisis to situations considered a tourism emergency.  Requires, in addition to the governor's declaration of the existence of a tourism emergency, the governor's express approval and direction before action may be taken.

Provides a vehicle to increase the TAT to pay for culturally-related programs.
