The purpose of this informational briefing is to obtain information and provide comments on the impact of additional funding restrictions that were proposed by Governor Lingle on the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DLIR). DLIR will also provide an update on the impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds and the condition of the State’s unemployment trust fund. We anticipate the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) will make a presentation and provide comments on the Governor’s proposed furlough plan.
No public testimony will be accepted.
