RELATING TO CONTRACTORS. Allows the issuance of citations for violation of contractor licensing statutes. Prohibits the resumption of work after a citation until the person cited obtains the required licenses. Amends penalties. Effective 1/1/15. (SD1)

RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY TRANSACTIONS. Prohibits a deed restriction or covenant that requires a transferee of real property to pay a transfer fee to the person imposing the deed restriction or covenant, in connection with a transfer of real property. (SD1)

RELATING TO CEDED LANDS. Prohibits the sale or transfer of ceded lands until the unrelinquished claims of the native Hawaiian people are resolved, reconciliation between the State and the native Hawaiian people is no longer supported, or until December 31, 2014, whichever occurs first; establishes a process for the sale or transfer of ceded lands, to be implemented only when one of the foregoing conditions occurs. When faxing, please indicate to which committee the comments is being submitted and the date and time of the hearing.
