RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII SYSTEM. Requires the board of regents to auction the naming rights to buildings on the UH-West Oahu campus with proceeds to be deposited into the University of Hawaii-West Oahu special fund to be used for electric generation from renewable energy resources.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII. Appropriates funds to a task force attached to the University of Hawaii school of ocean and earth science and technology to provide recommendations to prevent, mitigate, and reverse beach erosion at Kailua beach.

· By Email: Testimony may be emailed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Committee at HRETestimony@Capitol.hawaii.gov . Please indicate the measure, date and time of the hearing. Email sent to individual offices or any other Senate office will not be accepted.
Please note: If you submit your written testimony after 4:30 p.m. the day prior to the hearing, please sign-in at the staff table to testify orally. A copy of your testimony may not be available during the hearing but will be posted online for the public after the hearing.
