SB 989 Testimony	RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION. Extends the sunset date of Act 2, Second Special Session Laws of Hawaii 2007, from the forty-fifth day following adjournment sine die of the Regular Session of 2009 to the forty-fifth day following adjournment sine die of the Regular Session of 2010. SB 1612 Testimony	RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION ENERGY. Establishes a comprehensive approach to increasing the use of alternative fuel vehicles in the State, including state procurement of alternative fuel vehicles, tax incentives, and infrastructure requirements	ENE/TIA, WAM
SB 719 Testimony	RELATING TO TAXATION. Authorizes an additional general excise tax on sale proceeds of vehicles having a net weight over a specified amount and provides a general excise tax exemption for the purchase of passenger vehicles or light trucks that operate on clean fuels.  Establishes a clean vehicle special fund. SB 390 Testimony	RELATING TO ENERGY RESOURCES. Amends the law mandating solar water heater systems for single-family dwellings by clarifying its application to new dwellings; clarifying variance request procedures and authority; reducing the tax credit for substitute renewable energy systems installed under the mandate; providing guidance for solar water heater system standards; and allowing use of demand-side management surcharge moneys for verification inspections.
