RELATING TO MILITARY SPECIAL NUMBER PLATES. Requires counties to set aside a portion of the fee charged for military special number plates to be transferred to the office of veterans' services to support veterans' rights and benefits.

RELATING TO FAMILY LEAVE. Grants family leave to an employee during any calendar year to provide family care and support during the military deployment of the employee's child, spouse or reciprocal beneficiary, or parent. Requires an employee to provide proof of military deployment. Defines military deployment. Effective 7/1/2015.

RELATING TO FAMILY LEAVE. RELATING TO EDUCATION. Appropriates funds to expand transition programs for military-impacted schools in the State and to hire necessary personnel to coordinate the transition programs.

RELATING TO PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT ORGANIZATIONS. Clarifies that the intent of existing law is solely to exempt professional employment organizations from general excise tax payments on payroll funds.

RELATING TO LIQUOR. During the economic downturn, allows liquor licensees who have an agreement to repay delinquent liquor taxes on a payment plan schedule and who are current and not in default, to renew their liquor licenses.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee the comments are directed to;
· The date and time of the hearing;
· Measure number; and
· The number of copies the Committee is requesting.
While every effort will be made to copy, organize, and collate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed to the incorrect office, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
