Status

RELATING TO PUBLIC UTILITIES.

Requires the public utilities commission to treat switched access phone service as fully competitive.

Status

RELATING TO CONTRACTORS.

Prohibits the resumption of work for any person who is issued a citation for operating without a contractor's license in good standing until a hearing is conducted, and makes the issuance of citations and cease and desist orders mandatory.  Amends penalties.

Status

RELATING TO INSURANCE.

Repeals the statute that limits insurance coverage for punitive damages to contracts that specifically provide such coverage.
