RELATING TO FARMS. Establishes a pilot program to develop safe food certification for small farms that form agricultural cooperatives and establish purchasing agreements with hotels and restaurants.

RELATING TO MACADAMIA NUTS. Appropriates funds to fund a marketing study for Hawaii's macadamia nut industry, including the best structure for the establishment of a Hawaii Macadamia Nut Commission.

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE. Establishes an agricultural products transportation program to provide grants to qualified agricultural producers to alleviate ocean and air intrastate transportation costs.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:
