A BILL FOR AN ACT

making an appropriation for the department of business, economic development, and tourism, office of planning, coastal Zone management program for the completion of surveys and maps of public access ways to shoreline areas and nearby public parking.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $     , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2009-2010, and the same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary of fiscal year 2010-2011, for the department of business, economic development, and tourism, office of planning, coastal management program, to survey and map all existing public access ways to shoreline areas and nearby public parking areas.

     SECTION 2.  The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of business, economic development, and tourism for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon July 1, 2009.
