Amends Act 6, SLH Special Session 2005, to require an interim report on the baseline environmental study to be submitted to the 2008 legislature and the final report to the 2009 legislature; appropriates moneys to DLNR for continuing preparation of the study.  Eff. 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS TO ASSIST OCEANLINX HAWAII LLC.

Authorizes the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds for planning, designing, and constructing a wave or hydrokinetic power facility on Maui.

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:

·     Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

·     The Committee the comments are directed to;

·     The date and time of the hearing;

·     Measure number; and

·     The number of copies the Committee is requesting.
