The House Special Committee on Vog Effects is meeting to receive information on vog and its effects on agriculture.

Topics of discussion will include the impact of vog on agricultural operations, ways to mitigate the effects of vog on crops, and ways to assist farmers affected. The following entities have been invited to participate:

National Weather Service	Big Island Farm Bureau
Hawaii Department of Agriculture	Hawaii Agriculture Research Center
University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources	Kona Pacific Farmers Cooperative

University of Hawaii at Hilo College of Agricultural Forestry and Natural Resource Management	Big Island Protea Growers Association
	Other individual farms
County of Hawaii Department of Research and Development

No public testimony will be accepted.
